I’ve been trying to write this post all morning, but my 10-month old nephew, Oliver, is visiting and he’s pretty insistent that the keyboard is supposed to be used as a drum set and not for typing. :)

We’re so thankful that Oliver has been blessed with a pretty easy childhood, but not every kid is so lucky…

I just learned that there are an estimated 12,000 new cases of Cerebral Palsy diagnosed each year. And it’s the most common physical disability in childhood! Absolutely heartbreaking.

If you’re not familiar, cerebral palsy is a life-long physical disability and it’s most often caused by brain injury during pregnancy. There are number of factors that can include…

  • Exposure to Radiation or Infection
  • Asphyxia Before Birth
  • Hypoxia of the Brain
  • Birth Trauma during Labor or Delivery
  • Complications in the Perinatal Period or During Childbirth

Do You Know Anyone With Cerebral Palsy? They May Be Owed Money…

If you know anyone that’s had complications during childbirth, they may be entitled to compensation. We’ve found a free resource that can get them connected to a lawyer to review their case for free – Consumer Injury Assistance.

Have them fill out the form – it takes about 30 seconds, but it might make a huge impact on their well-being!

Help Us Find a Cure?

If you’re interested in helping us find a cure, head over to the Cerebral Palsy International Research Foundation and make a small donation. I just chipped in $100. Can you help out with just a few bucks?

Can’t make a donation? Totally understandable. Can you help with a share? (Click to Share This Post on Facebook)

Thanks so much for your help in raising awareness about Cerebral Palsy!

CEREBRAL PALSY has an estimated 12,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Cerebral Palsy is caused by an abnormality or disruption in brain development usually revolving around unhealthy pregnancies and complications with the birthing process. Common factors that contribute to unusual brain development include random mutations in genes, maternal infections, fetal stroke, lack of oxygen, infant infections, exposure to radiation, birth trauma, hypoxia of the brain, asphyxia before birth, and traumatic head injury. A healthy pregnancy is required for a healthy baby. Using and/or abusing drugs, alcohol, nicotine, and other substances will negatively affect the baby and puts the child at risk of having cerebral palsy. Other toxins such as Aspartame, Fluoride, MSG, and chemical additives are unhealthy. Plenty of PURE water and a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables is beneficial. Vaccinations are tools of enslavement and murder and are filled with toxins such as mercury, RFID Microchips, Aborted Fetal Tissue, heavy metals, and other bodily pollutants that should be avoided at all costs!

Cerebral Palsy can be prevented and cured Naturally. One of the most effective natural remedies for cerebral palsy victims is Echinacea which helps promote blood circulation and enables better neural communication. It also encourages muscle movement and reduces pain. A dose of 20mg to 40mg daily would be beneficial. Fish Oil is also helpful when combatting cerebral palsy. Omega-3 develops healthy brain tissue and should be taken daily. Acupuncture offers pain relief and encourages muscle movement and development. Physical therapy using constraint induced movement therapy focusing on weak targeted muscles has worked in many instances. Ginger can be taken in large doses as a pill, in tea, and as cooking herb. Ginger improves blood flow circulation, boosts oxygen to the brain, and helps relieve pain. Turmeric, Organic Honey, and a diet of fruits and vegetables with plenty of PURE non fluoride water all contribute to the healing process. Essential Oils such as Black Seed Oil, Frankincense Oil, and others can be effective.
