The Sam's Club $10 membership deal ended April 19.

Sam’s Club has been around for four decades now. To celebrate its 40th birthday, the popular warehouse club is temporarily slashing the price of its memberships by $40.

A standard membership to Sam’s Club normally costs $50 per year, but first-time members can join for only $10. The deal lasts April 14-19.

“Plus” memberships, which come with free shipping, curbside pickup and discounted deliveries, normally cost $110 per year, but right now they can be had for $70.

Sam’s Club, named after Walmart founder Sam Walton, got its start in Oklahoma in 1983. It has since grown to nearly 600 stores throughout the U.S.
