It just so happens that Wednesday, June 21, is National Smoothie Day, and most of the major smoothie chains in the U.S. are offering special deals and discounts on that day. We’re talking about Jamba Juice, Playa Bowls, Smoothie King and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
(Wednesday also happens to be the first day of summer. This is not a coincidence.)
Here are some of the best smoothie deals we’ve spotted:
Jamba Juice
On Wednesday, this nationwide chain with nearly 770 locations will sell a “mystery smoothie,” and the flavor is a secret that will be revealed at the end of the day. This mystery smoothie is also being sold at a discount, with a medium one priced at only $5. A medium smoothie at Jamba normally costs nearly $7.20, so that’s about a 30% discount.

Playa Bowls
Playa Bowls has more than 170 locations, mostly in the Northeast, and it has a sweet offer: If you’re a member of its rewards program and you order a 16-ounce or 20-ounce smoothie on Wednesday, you’ll get a coupon for a free 16-ounce smoothie. It can be redeemed anytime from June 22 to June 28.
Smoothie King
Smoothie King has more than 1,350 stores in 32 states.
Can you say BOGO? If you’re a member of this chain’s Healthy Rewards program, you can get BOGO 20-ounce smoothies on Wednesday. Buy one and get one free.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe
You can find another good deal at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, which has more than 1,150 locations nationwide. If you’re a member of this chain’s Tropic Rewards program, you can get a free 24-ounce smoothie with any food purchase on Wednesday.
