There is a reason why wealthy people use online coupons. They are easy to find and use at your favorite retailer’s site. They are easily shared with friends and family. Best of all, they can save you a great deal of money.
Now, online coupons just got better, because you can make money off the ones you’ve already used. A website called Coupon Chief is promising to pay you just for sharing online coupons that you find.
The program is called pays-2-share program and we’ve got all the details…
How the Program Works
Coupon Chief is a giant online coupon repository. If it can be bought online, odds are they have a code. I’ve used the site on many occasions before making online purchases. It’s very easy to use and find the coupons you want. However, one of the best parts of the site is the Pays-2-Share program, which is a great incentive for keeping the site up to date with new coupons for great deals.
Any online coupon that you find can be loaded onto Coupon Chief’s site. When other members use the code, you get paid a percentage of the profits. Since codes can last a while, you’ll keep earning so long as the coupon is useable.
How Much Do You Get Paid?
The program pays you 2% of the revenue earned from purchases other users make with the coupon. If you are diligent and earn multiple coupons, you can have multiple earning streams. So long as the coupons remain active, you can load as many coupons as you’d like.
Sadly, There is a Catch
I believe the Pays-to-Share program is an easy way to make a little extra money, but like most things there are a few catches:
- The coupons must be from qualifying merchants. The site indicates those merchants with a yellow cent icon on the Coupon Chief website.
- You are limited to earning $25 from a participating store each month. This restriction limits you from being able to make a large amount of money from any single coupon.
- You are dependent on the user of the coupon to use the code in the exact manner that Coupon Chief deems as “completing a transaction.” The user cannot merely grab the coupon code and you get paid. If the user manually opens the retailer’s site, makes multiple transactions or even takes too long with completing a purchase, you might not receive the revenue share from your contribution.
While there are rules that make it hard to earn a lot of money from your used online coupons. The program makes it easy for you to make a little extra money without a lot of effort. If you are a frequent user of online coupons, it’s definitely worth taking a look.
Good Luck Penny Hoarders!
