Find a School Job at 2-Day Virtual Fair for Teachers and K-12 Staff

The nonprofit publisher Education Week is holding a two-day virtual fair, July 22 and 23, aimed at recruiting hundreds of teachers and K-12 staff for the upcoming school year. Attendance for both days is free. In-person and remote jobs are available.
“With most in-person teacher job fairs cancelled due to the pandemic, this is an opportunity to chat directly with recruiters and principals or hiring managers looking to fill teaching jobs for the 2020-21 school year,” the event page states.
This year, EdWeek’s annual career fair is broken up into two days, largely based on location. Though if you’re willing to relocate, feel free to attend both days.
To secure a spot at the event, you’ll need to select one date (or both) and register an account with EdWeek. The account requires your full name and email address, or you can link your Facebook, Gmail or LinkedIn profile.
Once your account is set up, take a few minutes to flesh out your profile.
You’ll be able to specify your job title, job field, level of education, state and willingness to relocate. You can further personalize your profile by uploading a headshot and resume. During the event, you’ll be able to chat directly with employers through a text-based system. No video conferencing is required.
Day 1: July 22, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Pacific
The first day is geared toward jobs in Western and Midwestern states.
Residents of the following states (or those willing to relocate) should register for day one: Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
More than two dozen employers are attending the first day, including at least three national employers.
Day 2: July 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern
Residents of the remaining states (and D.C.) should register for day two: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
At least 26 employers, including three national organizations, are slated to recruit on the second day.
EdWeek says to keep checking the list of employers, as more will be added as the event approaches.
