Is ‘Rosé All Day’ Your Anthem? Check Out This Gig at the NYC Rosé Mansion
Summer is fast approaching and we all know what that means: It’s time for rosé to shine.
The once-shunned pink drink now has an almost cult-like following. It has become synonymous with warm-weather, sunny-day drinking and flat-out decadence. I mean, if you go out to brunch and don’t gram your frosé with the accompanying #roséallday, did you actually even brunch?
Riding in on that blush-colored train comes The Rosé Mansion, an interactive exhibit in New York City that is stepping up to quench the thirst of the rosé-obsessed masses.
The two-story mansion opens its doors on July 12, and will feature a multi-room walkthrough experience, all dedicated to sampling and learning about rosé.
I know, sounds amazing right? But I haven’t even gotten to the best part: The Rosé Mansion is hiring.
The exhibit is looking for charismatic, fast-walking wine lovers to serve as Mansion Ambassadors. You’ll be charged with leading tour groups through the mansion, helping guests learn about the history, science and culture of the magical drink, all to the tune of $20 per hour.
You’ll guide guests through themed rooms, from Ancient Greece to the Finger Lakes, show them where they can whip up a custom rosé and take them to the swinging gold chandelier, where they can do their best Sia impression.
In addition to the hourly pay, ambassadors get “Weekly Wine Education,” aka tastings with industry professionals.
Yes, you read that right. You’ll get paid to literally walk and talk about rosé all day — and drink it, too.
Unfortunately, every rosé has its thorn, and this gig is no exception. Rosé Mansion is a 90-day pop-up event, running from July to October, which means this is a temporary job. Le sigh.
But hey, when this wraps up, you can always go check out our Jobs page on Facebook to find a new, awesome gig to fill that wine bottle-shaped hole in your heart.
