Edit Synopses About Movies and TV Shows With This Four-Month Gig
Aquent, a staffing agency specializing in the marketing and creative industries, is seeking a synopsis editor for a short-term gig that starts on Sept. 9 and lasts about four months. You must be available to work on Pacific time, as your manager will be based in California.
In this full-time role, you will edit about a dozen blurbs and short stories (roughly 150 to 250 characters) about films and TV shows each day. You may also write some of these yourself.
You will be working with other writers and freelancers, so you will need to manage deadlines. You should understand AP Style, have clean copy and be very proficient in the English language. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
When applying for this position, you will have to show your clips (preferably about film or TV) and will take a short edit test.
