Pathrise, an online program that helps tech professionals land their next jobs, is seeking a remote UI/UX designer. You’ll work on new products, systems and platforms while also serving in a teaching assistant type of role.
This is an entry-level position, but the company would like someone with experience in product design who knows how to use HTML/CSS and Javascript.
UI/UX Designer at Pathrise
Responsibilities include:
- Designing a learning management system/accountability web-based platform to optimize custom workflows.
- Developing and assessing new product features.
- Helping to build marketing and branding materials.
- Assisting with admissions, job search support and interview practice for Pathrise fellows.
- Contributing to teaching sessions, workshops and curriculum processes.
Applicants for this position must have:
- Experience developing in HTML/CSS and Javascript and a portfolio that showcases strong design sense and front-end engineering.
- Experience in product design and user research.
- Preferably worked for a small startup or as an entrepreneur.
- A passion for education and career development.
