How to Make $100+/Year As a Nielsen Family
You’ve heard of the Nielsen company before, right?
They’ve been tracking TV ratings since the 1950s and in order to do so they have often paid families to report on what TV shows they’re watching.
Well, now they have 3 new panels that track things like the websites we visit most often to what we’re buying at the grocery store.
I’ve been a part of all of these sites for awhile now and I usually earn an extra $100/year. It definitely won’t make you rich, but that extra pocket money is always nice to have. 🙂
Here are the panels you should join…
1. Nielsen Mobile Panel for iPhones (Up to $50/Year in Earnings)
Nielsen also has a panel that measures the popularity of websites and online videos, but it’s only available for iPhone users at the moment. From Nielsen’s site:
“In order for us to report accurate data to the mobile industry, we use Nielsen’s proprietary applications and profiles to measure the normal activity of your phone, tablet, or other mobile device. All data transmitted is encrypted and anonymous. All you have to do is download the Nielsen Mobile App or install our profile, depending on your device, and then continue using your mobile device as you usually do – that’s it! The Nielsen Mobile software is undetectable and will not affect your device’s performance or battery life.”
Want to give it a try?
1. If you have an iPhone, sign up here. (You cannot directly download this from the app store).
2. Once you’ve registered they will send you instructions on how to install the app. After completing the installation, you’ll be asked to restart your phone.
As a member of the Nielsen Mobile Panel, you’ll earn up to $50 a year just for using your phone like you normally do.
2. Nielsen Digital Voice
When you sign up to be on this panel, you’ll be automatically entered to win money every month.
The lowest prize is $25 and the top prize is $1,000, and you’ll be eligible to win every month (in fact, I’ve heard from a couple of readers this week that got $25 checks already).
Good luck Penny Hoarders!
