The Penny Hoarder Ranks No. 11 Fastest-Growing Company On Florida Fast 100

 

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Sept. 27, 2018) — The Penny Hoarder, one of the largest personal finance websites, was ranked the No. 11 fastest-growing company on the Florida Fast 100 list.

For the sixth year, researchers from the four Florida Business Journal markets (Orlando, Jacksonville, South Florida and Tampa Bay) gathered information to determine the Florida Fast 100. In order to qualify for the list, companies must be headquartered in Florida, must be privately held, for-profit organizations, and must have been in business before Jan. 1, 2014. The companies also must have had revenue greater than $1 million in 2015 or $5 million in 2017.

In 2018, Tampa Bay Business Journal named the company the seventh fastest-growing private company in the Tampa Bay area. The company was also named the #1 fastest-growing private media company by the Inc. 500/5000 in both 2016 and 2017.
