Technology news company Designtechnica is looking to add several freelance copy editors to work about 25 hours a week for Digital Trends. This person in this position will edit pieces across a range of topics, including lifestyle and tech. The company is hoping to build a long-term relationship leading to a consistent freelance workload for the foreseeable future. That can be hard to find.

Responsibilities include:

  • Editing stories.
  • Regularly updating content on topics ranging from lifestyle to tech to support sister sites.

Applicants for this position must have:

  • Extensive knowledge of the English language, AP style and grammar.
  • The ability to carefully read and edit copy in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrable experience writing, editing and fact-checking online.
