Set Your Own Hours as a Part-Time Online Tutor For StudyPoint

The average (arithmetic mean) of four different integers is 75. If the largest integer is 90, what is the least possible value of the smallest integer?

Know the answer? Good for you, because I sure don’t.

That’s a sample SAT question, and if you feel like you have the skills to help students find that answer, this online tutoring gig could be in your wheelhouse.

The online education company StudyPoint is hiring part-time, online tutors, mainly for SAT/ACT prep.

Applicants should have previous tutoring experience, and feel comfortable teaching all sections of the ACT or SAT, including math and reading.

Online tutors for StudyPoint can set their own schedule, but must be able to devote at least six hours a week.

The company provides an in-house curriculum, so no having to come up with lesson plans! Plus, StudyPoint provides comprehensive, paid training upon hire.

And if you’ve got some other tutoring side gigs in motion, you can still keep those and work for StudyPoint — the company doesn’t require you to sign a non-compete.

StudyPoint currently hires online tutors in and around the following cities: Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Baltimore; Boston; Chicago; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Columbus, Ohio; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Los Angeles; Minneapolis; St. Paul, Minnesota; New York; Philadelphia; Providence, Rhode Island; San Diego; San Francisco; Seattle and Washington D.C.
