Amazon Prime Day

Amazon hyped up its 20th birthday party like it would be bigger than Black Friday: more deals, bigger discounts.

Now that Prime Day is here, shoppers are feeling a bit let down by the selection. (It’s worth taking a few minutes to scroll through #PrimeDay on Twitter — some shoppers’ reactions will have you cracking up.)

But it’s not a total wash. We combed through Amazon’s deals to find some of the best buys for Prime Day. These deals last all day, unlike Lightning Deals that have time limits or limited supply — or both.

Here are 11 of the best deals you can snag for Amazon Prime Day.

1. Fitbit

Amazon’s selling the Fitbit Charge HR Wireless Activity Wristband for just a few dollars off the normal price of $149.99. But this purchase also comes with a bonus: A $25 Amazon credit for Prime members. Add this Fitbit model to your cart and you’ll automatically receive the credit at purchase.

2. Acer Monitors

Tech deals on Amazon can be big and bold, and today is no exception. One Acer 27-inch computer monitor — a perfect size for hooking up to your tiny laptop for Netflix nights — is on sale for $159.99, 30% off regular price.

3. Graco Baby Gear

Get an extra 25% off Graco and Britax gear for your tiny tots. The Graco Pack ‘n Play Playard with Cuddle Cove Rocking Seat — it’s basically a super-deluxe playpen — is just $152.99 today, reduced from the list price of $199.99. And don’t forget about that Prime free shipping on this bulky baby buy!

4. Microsoft Office

Hoping to get productive this summer? Download Microsoft Office Home & Business 2013 and get $25 off. Amazon’s selling the software download for $219, but the discount will automatically be added to your cart when you check out. Be sure to check your computer’s specifications before buying: this version requires Windows 7.

5. Samsung Digital Cameras

In the market for a new camera? Look no further than the Samsung WB2200F, with a host of features including built-in Wi-Fi. It’s half-price today, and while it’s listed at $272.63 (instead of almost $450), the price gets even better once the camera’s in your cart: just $219.

6. Amazon Pantry

Even if you use Prime to order from Amazon Pantry, shipping on those household products costs $5.99 per order. Today only, place a Pantry order of $50 or more for free shipping. Be sure to clip those Pantry coupons before you finalize your order. Deals on deals on deals!

7. Samsonite Suitcases

Planning a getaway? Maybe it’s time to upgrade your luggage. Amazon’s got big deals on luggage today, and they haven’t hidden the big brands like Samsonite. The Spin Trunk Spinner 29 has a normal price of $680, but today only, grab it for $210.86. Plus, it’s got great reviews.

8. Fifty Shades (Unrated!)

Fifty Shades of Grey: Unrated Edition on DVD is 60% off today, just $13.99. I’m not saying you have to buy it. I’m just saying it’s on sale.

9. Dewalt Tools

If you’re planning to flip a fixer-upper, you’ll need the right tools for the job. Dewalt’s Hammer Drill and Driver Kit includes 80 pieces to help you drill, drive and ratchet for DIY projects that last. Regular price? $238.99. On Prime Day? Just $169.

10. Bose Headphones

Everyone loves Beats, but Bose is still a leader in the audio department. Their SoundTrue Headphones in white are just $79.99 today, 47% off regular price. But double-check your clicks — the black version of this product is still $138.

11. Amazon Gift Cards

Sure, the money just goes straight to Amazon. But if you ever give Amazon gift cards for birthdays or holidays, now is the time to plan ahead and stock up. Amazon’s offering gift-card multipacks with a bonus: a $10 Amazon gift card for you. Choose a multipack and enter PRIMEGCS at checkout to magically receive the bonus gift card in your email inbox.

Your Turn: What’s the best deal you’ve seen on Prime Day? Are you buying anything?
