GitHub, a developer company, is looking for a remote ecosystem content writer fluent in tech to showcase the company’s products and tools.

For this job, you’ll be crafting documentation and usage samples to help developers learn new technologies. Accuracy is key to this position, although patience and compassion are desirable traits, too.

Ecosystem Content Writer at GitHub 

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with product documentation team to plan, create, edit and maintain educational content for developers.
  • Communicating feedback and direction to coworkers around the world.

Applicants for this position must have:

  • Experience documenting APIs, writing code samples, quickstart guides and other technical content.
  • Familiarity with Ruby, Python, JavaScript or other high-level programming language.
  • Understanding of HTTP and web requests.
  • Ability to organize complex writing projects with a high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub is preferred.
