If that sounds like you and you’ve got some pretty sweet writing skills, consider applying for this work-from-home position so you can actually get paid for your weekend internet escapades.

Ranker, the entertainment site know for its listicles that readers can upvote or downvote, is looking for a remote weekend social media editor. This is a part-time position, with hours on Saturdays and Sundays only.

As the social media editor, you’ll be responsible for creating and editing content for Ranker’s platforms, like this Weird History page. The editor will post content relevant to trending topics and will engage with the site’s audience.

Ranker covers a huge variety of topics, so applicants need to consider themselves culture junkies and must be willing to write about any subject as quickly as internet trends change, from Marvel superheroes to NBA players to Bigfoot.

Applicants should also have excellent writing and editing skills and experience engaging with a large audience via social media. Previous experience with social media programming is a plus, but it’s not a deal breaker if you don’t have it.
