Responsibilities include:

  • Examining discrepancy reason coding.
  • Starting refunds for identified overpayments.
  • Reviewing and resolving credit balances. 
  • Accepting phone calls and answering patient questions.
  • Identifying accounts with issues and escalating when necessary.
